Chief Manager Operations & Branches

Charles Kibara is a Certified Public Accountant and an MBA graduate of the University of Nairobi. He has over 20 years’ experience in banking, insurance, internal and external audit. Prior to joining Credit Bank, he worked with African Bank Corporation (ABC Bank), Flagship Insurance Brokers and Crowe Erastus & Co., Certified Public Accountants.

He has attended numerous professional development courses in banking, leadership, customer care, sustainable finance, quality management, internal controls and information security. In addition, he is a registered and active member of ICPAK, ISACA and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA-K).

At Credit Bank, he has been instrumental in guiding the bank to attain ISO 9001:2015 certification and has actively offered leadership in the Bank’s digitisation, innovation and process re-engineering agenda.

Mr. Kibara is a committed Christian and sits in two not-for-profit organisations’ boards and is the founder Chairman of My Friend Sacco, the Sacco for Credit Bank staff.
