Credit Bank announces Launch of Business Leadership and Knowledge Hub

Nairobi; Kenya – Credit Bank today announced the launch of its Leadership Forum dubbed ‘Impact Hub’– a unique forum in Kenya that seeks to draw business leaders together from a wide array of industries for purposes of growth and mentorship engagements.

The forum’s aim is to also bridge the knowledge gap between the emerging SMEs and the already established industry leaders.

This is expected to be achieved through a platform that will accord members an opportunity to learn first-hand from notable chief executives, the business community thereby developing a valuable cross-industry business network.

Through its newly launched forum, Credit Bank equally strives to be the cornerstone of business leadership and innovation in the country.

Credit Bank also reported their full year 2016 financial results which saw their Profit before Tax grow by 189% to Ksh. 163.5 Million. Despite it being a challenging year for most players in the Banking industry, since the introduction of the interest rates Cap, Credit Bank continued to attract more customers mostly from SME sector. This signals a significant repositioning of the Bank as the SME’s preferred financial solutions partner and especially in trade finance.
