We joined African Guarantee Fund in commemorating the The International Day of Climate Action on the 25th of October. The tree planting took place at the Kereita Forest in Lari District, Kiambu County. The occasion comes at a time when the Kenyan government has embarked on a tree planting campaign across the country themed Panda Miti Boresha Maisha. An increasing number of our SME customers have ventured into business that tackle climate change effects and we are committed to increasing our lending to them. We undertook to plant 10,000 trees, making a significant impact towards increasing the country’s forest cover.
